Appearance: Syke is tall and thin, with ghostly pale skin. He has grayish-purple hair that frames his face and faded red eyes. A skull shaped mask which he rarely removes adorns the left half of his face. His clothing consists of a loose-fitting, dark gray hoodie with a skull and crossbone design on the back, and knee-high orange and red stripped socks under skinny black jeans. The tips of his feet start to fade before breaking off into ghost-like wisps. A leather necklace with a spell tag attached is wrapped around his neck.
Mentality: If their was one word that described Syke, it would be 'restless'. Full of curiosity and an uncontrollable energy, he hates being bored and just sitting around, and thus he is always moving around, doing something, getting involved in something. He can be playful and childish at times, and delights in pranking people and scaring people. Unfortunatly, he's also impulsive, and rarely thinks before he leaps, a trait that has managed to get him into a lot of trouble. Syke is extremely independent. He hates being told what to do and how to do it. The only time he accepts commands from anyone is if he is ordered to do something that he wanted to do in the first place. Because of this, he has been called stubborn by many people. Cunning and devious, he finds no sin in decieving people, even those that he considers 'friends', as long as he gets what he wants in the end. Because of this, his unloyalty, and a terrible superficiality, he has trouble making friends, and can never hold onto a relationship for too long. But, for those that do manage to warm up to him, they find that he is a fun and exciting friend.
Job: None. He manages to steal most of the things that he needs. When things are getting desperate, he'll do an odd job or two. If he can find one that's easy enough, that is.

Confuse Ray: Creates a spinning blue light, making anyone that looks at it dizzy.

Astonish: Appears out of nowhere, making a horrifying face with shadows appear around his face and body, frightening the opponent and making them flinch. More efficient the first time it is used.

Disable: Eyes glow light blue while its opponent is using an attack. The opponent becomes outlined in light blue briefly and it stops using the attack. In addition, the opponent cannot use the attack for a while.

Night Shade: Fires a defence-piercing dark beam from his hands.

Levitate: allows him to float a few feet off of the ground for a short amount of time.

Story:
For one hundred days we set sail without as much as one distraction. But it seems that I have sank because of my past actions.
He had snuck on board a ship, headed to the volcanic island of Neva. It was supposed to be so nice their. So perfect. The sun was always out, and the warm ocean water was as blue as the sky....
Washed away… They said a storm was coming and “You’ll be washed away!”
He was awakened in the middle of the night by a terrible bang. And all of a sudden heavy rain started pouring down, pounding on the ship's deck overhead like it was a drum. Syke got up, stumbling around the dark as the ship began to violently rock back and forth. Somehow he had made his way up to the deck. A few ship hands were frantically steering the ship, trying not to get her knocked over.
Halt! Where is your security now? When you begged for a lifeline
And were thrown an anchor instead?
A powerful gust hit the ship, almost flipping it sideways. He tumbled down the deck, catching hold of the ship's side just in time. But just as the ship was regaining balance, the captain came up to him, looking him straight in the eyes. Syke begged, pleaded for him to help him back onboard. The ship captain only smiled before hitting him in the face, sending him overboard.

That I once had. He plunged into the icy-cold waters, frantically trying not to drown as the waves tossed him around like he was nothing. He started getting dizzy. He felt like he was going to be sick. And then everything went dark...
Face forward. Swim towards the surface. And look ahead to the life on the new horizon.
Freezing wet and drenched to the bone, he crawled up unto the shore, spitting out the salty water that he had inhaled. The sun shone bright overhead, radiating a certain sort of peacefulness towards the beach, while towering palm trees swayed gently in the beach.
There is never any way of going back to the old world with any sort of victory.
He didn't where he was, and he knew less about how he got here. All he knew is that their was no way of going back.
