[Accepted] Roo Gi the Smeargle

Appearance: Roo is quite small for his age, and he constantly worries if he’ll ever be taller. His hair is light orange-blonde shaggy cut with big floppy brown ears. Occasionally, a free hair tends to curl up. He has a pale complexion with big light green eyes and a bright smile. His attire consists of a long sleeve brown and white shirt over a beige-orange t-shirt, short khaki pants, and doesn’t like to wear shoes. He also has a long striped tail with messy green paint that constantly secretes out of the tip of his tail. Roo always carries a light gray messenger bag over his shoulder to keep his drawing paper and crayons.

Mentality: A quirky little kid; he loves running around and is constantly active. Roo is sweet with a big heart and loud voice. He believes that justice will prevail and wants to protect his friends and family. His smile can brighten anyone’s day, and loves to help people in need. He never wants to be a burden to anyone. His outgoing personality lets him talk to anyone; although his mother has taught him to never talk to strangers, Roo is always weary if anyone suspicious talks to him.

He is strong to the heart, although sometimes he can’t help but to cry. Roo desperately tries to not let anyone see this side because he thinks they will think of him as a coward and a baby. He wants people to know that he is a big kid and not afraid of anything. He is a seven year old kid whose intellect is not as smart as someone who is years older than him. He likes asking questions to the point of being annoying but hey, he’s seven. Roo has a soft spot for flowers.

Job: No Full-time job because of his age; Just does small errands for people.

Story: Roo used to live in a small town; he lived happily with his mother and father. Everyday Roo and his father would paint together, laugh, and occasional paint fights. They were close. One day Roo asked, "Daddy, when can we paint again?". His father looked at Roo with gentle eyes then to his wife. He picked Roo up onto his lap and looked at him straight into the eye, "I promise you Roo, one day we will, but not now." Roo was worried about his dad, he was like this for the past couple of weeks. He asked, "Whats wrong Dad?". Before his dad could answer, there was a loud knock on the door.

"Open up, we know you are in there Jay. We finally found you. You do not belong in this pack you traitor." Suddenly, the door flew open and a swarm of Smeargles retched Roo's dad from his grasp. His dad struggled and yelled, "I'll be back Roo, I'll be ba-" and the door was shut. His mom sobbed on the floor while Roo just stood there confused. He knew something was wrong, why were there people who took daddy away? His mom explained to him that Smeargles were a fiercely devoted pack. When you reach adulthood you were supposed to get a foot print on your back to symbolize you were one of them. However Roo's father ran away from the pack and never received his welcoming.

Normally, a seven year old would cry, but not Roo. He believed in his dad because he always kept his promise. He heard from his neighbor whom was passing by that they'll take him to Airia. Roo becomes determined to find his father so he sets off to Airia with his mom.

Just saying: As you may suspect, Smeargle is subject to exceptions to rules. I've just written most of it today, in the list of moves, under the move Sketch. But anywhere, here are the exceptions:

Sketch is a move that allows the user to copy a move, store it into a drawing, and reuse it later. Those drawings may only be used once. However, you may learn any move like they were move tutor moves, meaning that you may only permanently learn a move that another player or NPC teaches you. You learn it via Sketch, of course! Learning a move means that you do not have to see the move to draw it anymore!

The rule that I have not written, however, is what moves you start with. You start with 4 moves, like every other pokemon. The first move is Sketch, of course. The three moves are moves that you choose yourself, up to a certain limit: For offensive moves, you may not choose a move that has a Base Power higher than 60. For status moves: You may not pick a move that has PP of 10 or less. Meaning you can't start with the most powerful moves of the game.

Also: I will suggest not to go learn moves that you have no idea how to apply logic to it, such as most Fighting moves. Because if a move makes no sense to sketch, it won't make any sense in an actual RP.
