[Mission] Clearing the Cave's Monument

(Mission Briefing:

The path follows in a straight line, with no side-ways. The first side-way you see leads to the Monument. At the monument, there are 3 pokemons: a Geodude, a Kabuto and a Baltoy. All of them know their moves up to level 20, as well as the move Smack Down, which they will not hesitate to use often. A new briefing will be posted once the Pokemons have been cleared.

Participants: Sapphire, Fern Tao)

"Do you want to make a plan or do you want to just run in and beat them all?" Fern said as the pair walked toward the Monument.

"I think we need some sort of plan, even if we both have moves that will easily take care of them. They will probably be strong and we can't underestimate them" said Sapphire.

She paused to think. "So what do you think we should do?"

"How about I draw their attacks and attack from melee while you attack at range using special attacks?" Fern didn't have any special attacks so even if he wanted to support her from range he couldn't.

"Alright sounds like a plan Fern" said Sapphire smiling. Phew this was good as Sapphire knew she was not that strong of a physical attacker. However she was a good special attacker though, her aurora beam and water gun could attest to that.

She felt confident she could keep them off of him at a distance.

"Lets do this!" Fern whispered as they came to the fork in the road that led to their monument. He glanced over his targets there was a Geodude, a Kabuto and a Baltoy near the monument. He knew he could take the Geodude and Kabuto but Baltoy was a psychic type which worried him.

"Alright countdown from 10 and then attack the baltoy as I attack the others." Fern said starting the attack with a forcepalm to the Kabuto.

Sapphire did the countdown from 10 Fern told her to say. She fired a water gun at the baltoy, hoping to knock it off or something.

Fern watched as the Baltoy was blasted back by the Water Gun and the Kabuto was knocked back by his fist leaving the Geodude to attack Fern with Smack Down. The other two who were knocked back started to stir meaning they would be back in the fight soon.

Fern used a glowing white fist to punch the Geodude doing some damage to it but it looked basically fine.

Sapphire carefully fired another water gun at the Baltoy but she was hit with a psychic attack (confusion). The baltoy was knocked back down again.

Sapphire winced and held her head as the psychic attack hit her. But she was fine once the momentary bout of confusion was over.

Fern's fist glowed green and he punched Kabuto knocking it out, when geodude glowed brown and smashed its fists into the ground angry that its friends had fallen causing a minature earthquake. (Magnatude 5)

After the ground clamed Fern called out "Are you alright Sapphire?"

Sapphire fell to the ground with the earthquake. She was fine though, she thought.

"Yeah I am, uh fine" said Sapphire. She shot a watergun at the geodude to punish it for its action. Forgetting the baltoy as she was kinda mad at the geodude.

After the watergun blasted the geodude back it seemed like all of the pokemon were beaten. "I think thats it lets check out the Monument." Fern said walking toward the pillar.

"alright let's go" said Sapphire smiling. She was glad she could help Fern. And that neither of them were seriously hurt.

She smiled and walked over to the monument happily.

With a close examination, you discover the Monument is the equivalent of a "TM". It radiates energy that allows one to learn the move Smack Down should he decides to meditate there. The mission is now done, and you can return to Explorer's HQ)
