Concetrate! The ice needs to be stronger!

Zero knew that there were some dangers in this tournament, it wouldn't be easy, he didn't even know why he was entering it, but he felt that he had to move on, people might still recognise him though, as he was still a wanted criminal where he came from.

He knew that he had to come up with a stronger ice move, wind won't always save him, he needs to have a concetrated beam of ice, that would be strong enough.

He started aiming his arm towards a tree, and was supporting his arm with the other one.

He shot ice but it ended up just being a icy wind.

He started concetrating, Concetrate the ice, make it more concetrated He was thinking when he shot the ice though, the ice he had gathered in his hand exploded, and his hands ended up frozen.

Not good enough huh, well i better continue this tommorow.

Zero was still practicing, this was harder then he thought.

He was once again concetrating his ice, and this time it went a little farther, but expanded half way, and the floor was full with snow again.

No, what am i doing wrong, do i need more power.

He was now tired and knew that it was futile untill he knew what he was missing, but he still kept trying, and trying.
He wasn't going to give up, he kept going on, untill he would learn it, the strong attack "Ice beam." He said, a ray got shot at the tree, and it looked fine, until it expanded again.

I need something, i will rest for now though.

Zero was once again, on the field trying to get his beam to work, this time he even had a few people watching from afar, he didn't know most of these people, but he recognised some, as they were also practicing.

He tried again to have his beam hit the tree, but it was futile.

"Again, what am i doing wrong."He said out loud, not noticing the person behind him.

"Isn't that obvious, you are only concetrating the ice together, you also need to focus yourself."
Behind him was a man, he had white hair, and was wearing a mask that was covering his mouth, he also had a long robe like outfit, white and green, he looked about the same age as him.

This man was a abomasnow, the powerful ice and grass pokemon.

"What do you mean, focus." Zero said to the man.
The man just sighed, and started explaining.

"You are just concetrating the ice together, you need to focus afterwards too, like this."The man held out one hand, and shot a beautiful beam of ice towards the tree, that was now fully frozen.

Zero knew that this man was stronger then him, and he was willing to stronger, so he asked something of the man that he wouldn't ask anyone else.

"Please, be my mentor." He asked while bowing towards him.
The man just looked stern at him, and then started talking.
"Are you sure, it won't be easy."He said, Zero just nodded, his training began here.

After the training with his mentor, he knew what he had to do.

He stood there and aimed both his hand at the tree, both his hands close together.

He started gathering the ice and was ready, the moment of truth.
"Ice beam"He said coldly, he then shot a strong beam of ice at the tree, and it was still a little hard to keep it together.

Come on, Focus.. you can do this. He thought to himself, he had trained for this, he knew what he was doing, so why was it so hard.

He finally got the beam stable, and it hit the tree full on.

"I did it!" He said, happy that he understood what to do now, and he was planning practicing even more, he was just happy that he understood it well enough now to do it correctly.

"I'll come back to practice this move, as i need full control of it."
He then headed back home for the day, and was happy that he finally understood ice beam, even if he still had trouble with it.
